In Some Cases Citrus Trees Need Treatments From Vermin

With over 2,500 varieties of palm trees it is hard to select best tree for your garden. Florida Palm Trees can change your garden into tropical paradise. There are many kinds of palm trees that can be narrowed down by their leaves, trunk, color and size. Here is a simple way you can identify them.

1. You can determine them by their trunk: Some palms have a single trunk others look more like a bush with steams growing out of the ground. For instance: Queen Palm has a smooth grey trunk and Needle Palm is a little shrubby plant. There are two kinds of trunk, smooth and ringed by old leaf scars or covered with old leaf bases.

2. Some trees have a crownshaft. Crownshaft is a leaf base development that is developed by the overlapping of the leaves. It is generally green however can be any color. For example: Sealing Wax Palm has a stunning red crownshaft and Mount Lewis King has a purple tree service best local shop crownshaft. When planted groupings of 3 or 4, Trees with different color crownshaft appearance definitely magnificent.

3. Leaves, also called leaves, can be shaped differently. Some palms have a feathery fronds formed like birds feathers. Fine example is Royal palm. Other palms have leaves formed like the palm of your hand. They are called fan palms. My favorite is Fiji Fan native from Fiji (obviously). There is another kind of the palms that are shrubby looking. Needle palm is a fine example.

4. Some have spears. Spears are brand-new establishing leaves of the palm. They shoot new spears straight up and later on unwrap into gorgeous leaves. It is extremely essential to protect the brand-new growing fronds from damage.

Noted above types are just a suggestion of the iceberg. They can also be segregated by light requirements, cold, drought and salt tolerance.
